With BFCM ahead, the Vietnam-built developer’s two apps, Pareto Quantity Breaks and Pareto Order Limits, tackle both sides of the cart: making good orders bigger, and stopping the orders a store should never take.
Pareto AOV, a Vietnam-built developer of ecommerce apps, today released performance figures for its two core products. Pareto Quantity Breaks generated $6.3 million in additional revenue for merchants in Q3 2026, roughly $2.1 million a month. Pareto Order Limits blocks more than 680,000 over-limit add-to-cart and checkout attempts every month across 2,400+ Shopify stores in 97 countries.
The two apps work at opposite ends of the same cart. One makes legitimate orders larger. The other keeps out the orders that cost a merchant money: bulk buys of limited stock, reseller sweeps, and repeated attempts to get around a cap. Bigger orders up. Bad orders out.

How Quantity Breaks Added $6.3M to Merchant Revenue in One Quarter
Pareto Quantity Breaks lets merchants set tiered volume offers, so customers pay less per unit when they buy more. Built-in AI helps set the price: AI Insights analyzes a store’s sales data and recommends ways to raise order value, while AI Offer Health Check suggests discount levels that increase revenue without eroding margin. Merchants can also create and manage offers in plain English through Shopify Sidekick.
Orders placed through a Pareto offer average $504, compared with $251 for regular orders. That makes them twice the size. The median store sees a 92% lift in average order value on offer orders, and 87% of stores get a higher AOV on those orders than on the rest of their sales.
The app has about 1,500 active merchants in 60+ countries. Together they run more than 24,000 live quantity-break campaigns. The US is its largest market, followed by the UK, Germany and Australia. On Shopline, Pareto Quantity Breaks currently ranks #1 in the Bundles and Discounts category.
Results are growing along with adoption. Extra revenue generated for USD stores rose 35% quarter over quarter and is up about 3.8× since November 2025. The app also has a built-in Limit Purchase feature, so a merchant running a volume offer can cap how much any one customer takes at the discounted price.
What 680,000 Blocked Checkouts a Month Reveal About Bulk Buying
Purchase limits are often treated as a simple banner that says “max 2 per customer.” Pareto’s data suggests the problem is more deliberate than that. Three in four blocked attempts are repeat tries from the same cart or IP address. In a single quarter, the app stopped attempts from nearly half a million distinct IP addresses.
Pareto Order Limits monitors more than 4 million cart interactions a month. It enforces quantity, order and customer limits natively at checkout through Shopify Functions, so a rule still holds at the point of purchase and doesn’t stop at the product page.
The app is built on Shopify’s native stack: Shopify Functions, Checkout UI Extensions, Shopify Flow and Sidekick. It includes 20 extensions and 8 limit types, and it’s available in 7 languages. Customer data is handled through GDPR webhooks and encrypted with AES-256-GCM. The app runs on 2,400+ Shopify stores in 97 countries, including hundreds of Shopify Plus merchants.
Heading Into BFCM 2026
Black Friday Cyber Monday (BFCM) is when both problems hit at once: shoppers are ready to buy more, and bots and resellers are ready to buy everything.
Over last year’s Black Friday weekend, stores running Pareto Quantity Breaks processed 113,716 orders in five days. Orders peaked at 27,954 on Black Friday itself, about 1.6× the roughly 17,000 orders those stores process on a normal day. (November 28, 2025).
“Merchants usually treat order value and order protection as two separate problems. They’re the same problem seen from two sides,” said Linh Nguyen, Product Manager of Pareto AOV. “You want every real customer to buy a little more, and you want the resellers and bots to stop taking stock you priced for someone else. We build both on Shopify’s native checkout, so the rules hold when traffic spikes.”
All figures are based on Pareto’s internal merchant data.
